Or a DSLR? The choice is yours. I stick to old-school things because they give you that classy, vintage vibes. Do not forget to carry your camera, a cell-phone camera no matter how good it just doesn’t get that exclusive. Your road trips deserve an entire shoot, so keep a camera handy and enjoy the beautiful pictures in the days to come. Flaunt them on your living room bulletin boards, or your Instagram. Photos make for a memory of generations, so never compromise on them.
Sure, pictures make your trips believable, but what about more solid memories and evidence of your visit to China? Do not miss a chance of collecting souvenirs from far off lands that you can later showcase on your walls and shelves. I always collect paintings, scents, spices and similar ethnic products that are primarily associated with the area that I’m visiting because they make for the best memories.
Here’s the fun part, listen to native music. Nothing makes more of a memory than a song replayed years later that would remind you of how you drifted away on explored roads in the most carefree manners. I often associate songs with events, and this is my way of making incredibly beautiful memories. Prep up your ride for music and stock up on custom-made audio CD’s. Because this road trip will be one hell of a ride!
Shop, Shop, Shop!
This goes for your clothing to everything else that you might need during a road trip and keep for yourself later; basically, the non-perishables. Pack fewer clothes and buy some while on the trip, so that whenever you wear the clothes, you bought while on the trip and wore them, you would be reminded of the trip. If you’re a woman, it will be a gratifying experience for you since women love shopping!
I love road trips because they give my taste buds the change they are craving. I love how I get to enjoy the ethnic food of various places I visit while on the road. I like to document the food and write about it in a journal so that I remember every little detail. Sometimes, I ask the chefs I meet about their recipes. This way, you get to flaunt your exotic foreign-learned recipe on friends and family dinner, a beautiful memory to a successful trip.
Last but certainly not the least, do keep a journal with you on the trip. There are a million jokes that you would crack on your way, thousands of small occasions that can slip your mind, or the camera. So always document your day in a journal before you sleep at night. It’s the most precious way of storing a memorable trip.
